The Ecology of Residency

2009

Join us for the Ecology of Residency course! Now in it's fifth year, this exciting and challenging course has become a core experience for many Environmental Humanities graduate students. Students earn 3 credit-hours through completion of an intensive nine-day course. Participants are selected through a competitive application process that includes a 750-word statement of what "Ecology of Residency" means to them, and an online application (see link above). Last year's course was held at Far Out Expeditions, in beautiful Bluff, Utah, from June 13 through June 22, 2008.  Applications for the 2009 course will be due on April 27, 2009.

This course is made available, in large part, to the generosity of the Kendeda Foundation, as well as the Jerry S. Dixon Expedition Fund (which covers costs related to a river trip, part of each year's experience.)
