In December 2006, Michael Mischler was selected to lead all marketing activities in the newly formed division of CBS, resulting from the merger of KingWorld and CBS/Paramount Domestic Television.

In December 2006, Michael Mischler was selected to lead all marketing activities in the newly formed division of CBS, resulting from the merger of KingWorld and CBS/Paramount Domestic Television. The new company, CBS Television Distribution, produces 9 or the top 10 shows in syndication, including WHEEL OF FORTUNE, JEOPARDY!, OPRAH, DR PHIL, ENTERTAINMENT TONIGHT, INSIDE EDITION, JUDGE JUDY, JUDGE JOE BROWN, RACHAEL RAY & THE INSIDER. Mr. Mischler's staff of 62 oversees all consumer, business to business, and internet marketing of the division's first run, off-net and extensive library programming.

Prior to the merger Michael served as Executive Vice President, Marketing, Paramount Pictures Television from 1999-2006. In his position, Mr. Mischler supervised all aspects of Paramount Domestic Television's marketing and brand activities, including on-air, print, radio, promotion, advertising and sales materials for the Division's first-run and off-network product, cable programming and theatrical film packages.

In 1997 and 1998, Michael served as Senior Vice President, Marketing with Ticketmaster in Los Angeles. His responsibilities at Ticketmaster included the launch of that company's co-branded credit card, as well as marketing Ticketmaster's media assets and building strategic marketing alliances.

From 1988 through 1997, Michael was Senior Vice President, Advertising & Promotion at the CBS Television Network. During his tenure with CBS, he was responsible for all television, radio, print and outdoor advertising and promotion of the NETWORK'S PRIMETIME PROGRAMMING, as well as advertising/promotions for other divisions, including news, sports, daytime and children's in addition to network campaigns for the '92 and '94 OLYMPIC WINTER GAMES, and the launch of THE LATE SHOW WITH DAVID LETTERMAN on CBS.

Before working with CBS, Michael was Vice President, Advertising and Promotion, with KingWorld Productions in Los Angeles, from 1987 - 88. There, he was responsible for the on-going promotional campaigns of WHEEL OF FORTUNE and JEOPARDY, as well as the move of OPRAH WINFREY'S successful talk show from mornings to early fringe time periods.

Michael was the director of Advertising for the Los Angeles CBS O&O, KCBS-TV, from 1983 - 87, where he was actively involved in all advertising and promotional activities for the station's news and syndicated programming. He began his career in the broadcast industry in 1973 at KSL-TV in Salt Lake City, Utah, leaving that station as the Director of Advertising and Promotion in 1983.

Michael and his teams are the winner of many industry awards, including two regional Emmys, numerous Promax Gold Medallions and Clio Awards. He was named the "Promax Marketer of the year in 1994 and received the Promax Brand Builder Award in 2003.
